This Privacy Policy explains how CVLTVRECREATOR ("we," "us," or "the platform") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website, create an account, publish content as an artist, or support an artist as a fan. We built this platform on the idea that artists should own their work and their relationships. The same principle guides how we treat your data: we collect what we need to run the platform, we tell you what we do with it, and we do not sell it.
Account information. When you create an account we collect your name or artist name, email address, password, and profile details you choose to add. Artists may additionally provide payout details, tax information, and identity verification documents where required by law.
Payment information. When you purchase a subscription, merch, a ticket, or a drop, payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We receive confirmation of the transaction, the amount, and limited card metadata such as the last four digits. Full card numbers never touch our servers.
Content. We store the music, images, video, text, and other material artists upload, along with messages and comments posted in community spaces.
Usage data. We collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and interactions with features, used to keep the platform secure and to understand what is working.
We use personal information to operate the platform: creating and managing accounts, processing subscriptions and purchases, paying out artists, hosting and delivering content, and providing customer support. We use usage data to secure the platform, prevent fraud and abuse, debug problems, and improve features.
Artists receive aggregated information about their own audiences, such as subscriber counts, sales, and engagement. This is the artist's business data. We do not give one artist access to another artist's audience, and we do not use fan data to market unrelated products.
We send transactional emails such as receipts, payout notices, and security alerts. Marketing emails are optional and every one of them includes an unsubscribe link that works.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the platform (payment processing, cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics), each bound by contractual confidentiality obligations; with an artist you directly support, limited to what they need to fulfill your subscription or order, such as your name and shipping address for merch; when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users and the platform; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to previously collected data.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the platform from working, such as staying logged in or completing checkout.
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law, such as transaction records for tax purposes.
We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we treat protecting your information as a core obligation, not a checkbox.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly from your account settings, or by contacting us through the contact page. We respond to verified requests within the timelines required by applicable law.
The platform is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email before they take effect, and the effective date above will always tell you when the current version was published. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent through our contact page.
